Last day of summer
I finally talked to my uncle last night about being Gay. He was the last family member in my immediate family that I came out to. While we went back and forth, debating and discussing, at the end of the day we agreed to disagree. At the root of it all, my uncle told me he still loves me and he just wants me to continue to put God first in my life. This morning he called to tell me this.
"Always seek God every day through His word, meditate on Him, and talk to Him in prayer and build a lasting and meaningful relationship with Him. Finally, obey His will and you will be blessed."
This is how I was raised.
This is what I believe in.
This is why I love my family.
